Four-star CB hosts Auburn coach
One of the top cornerbacks in the country, Darius Robinson out of Westlake High in Atlanta, Ga., was in Auburn for the Iron Bowl. After a visit from Tiger recruiter Tommy Thigpen Tuesday, the 6-foot, 170-pounder is planning to be back on the Plains again before Signing Day.
Robinson, currently committed to Clemson, hasn't set a date for his return trip to Auburn, but will soon. It would be an official visit.
"I've been hearing a lot from Auburn," said Robinson. "Coach Thigpen came by this week and it went really well. It was good to see him here. I really like Coach Thigpen. I like all of the Auburn coaches. They are very family-oriented and seem like a great group of guys to play for."
