Four-star CB hosts Auburn coach
Jeffrey Lee
AuburnSports.com One of the top cornerbacks in the country, Darius Robinson out of Westlake High in Atlanta, Ga., was in Auburn for the Iron Bowl. After a visit from Tiger recruiter Tommy Thigpen Tuesday, the 6-foot, 170-pounder is planning to be back on the Plains again before Signing Day.
Robinson, currently committed to Clemson, hasn't set a date for his return trip to Auburn, but will soon. It would be an official visit.
"I've been hearing a lot from Auburn," said Robinson. "Coach Thigpen came by this week and it went really well. It was good to see him here. I really like Coach Thigpen. I like all of the Auburn coaches. They are very family-oriented and seem like a great group of guys to play for."
