Florida's football team will be without its top kick and punt returner for the Jan. 1 Sugar Bowl.

Brandon James, one of the Southeastern Conference's top special teams weapons the past few seasons, will miss the postseason game because of a stress fracture he sustained during the SEC Championship Game against Alabama, UF coach Urban Meyer said Monday.
