Just weeks ago, it seemed Blinn (Texas) College running back Mike Hayes was in heavy pursuit of a spot on Kansas State's 2010 roster. The junior college running back had no qualms about naming the Wildcats as his clear-cut favorite and brushed up against antsy when he talked about making a verbal commitment to the Bill Snyder. The recruiting world is a volatile place, and just weeks before Hayes will tour K-State's campus for the first time, it seems the power has shifted.
