Mountaineers must 'focus, finish'

WVSports.com JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-"Focus" and "finish" were words that WVU head coach Bill Stewart and his best player, Noel Devine, used after the Mountaineers lost 33-31 to Florida State Friday. "It was a great game, but we lost focus and that was that. We were having struggles finishing games all year," said Devine. "We just came out ready to play; we were anxious. It's hard to stay up once you get up. You gotta put things away." WVU roared to a 14-3 lead with 5:13 remaining in the first quarter before 25,000 delirious Mountaineer fans. Then the Seminoles outscored them 30-7 in the final three quarters.
