Monday conversation with Self
Since losing to Tennessee back on January 10, No. 3 ranked Kansas (16-1; 2-0) has opened up Big 12 play with two straight double-digit victories. Down 12-1 to Nebraska, the Jayhawks mounted a run in the first half, and eventually left Lincoln with a 84-72 victory. Facing Texas Tech on Saturday, the outcome was never in doubt, as Kansas cruised past Pat Knight and the Red Raiders, 89-62. The Jayhawks, who play host to Baylor on Wednesday, have won 52 straight games inside Allen Fieldhouse. During his weekly Big 12 teleconference on Monday, Bill Self talked about playing in AFH and why it's such a special place.
