Olympia Fields (Ill.) Rich Central three star ranked senior running back prospect Giorgio Bowers (5-foot-9, 192 pounds) reopened up his recruiting and took an official visit last week to the University of Akron. Bowers, who was earlier verbally committed to Northern Illinois University has decided to decommit from the Huskies and Bowers has given the Akron Zips his verbal commitment.
