Henderson on Hold
As signing day came to a close at USC Wednesday, one thing was abundantly clear. Things have changed.
Although finishing with the nation's top recruiting class was similar to years past, the changes in the program were clearly evident in both USC's first commitment and its biggest.
According to the school's official website, USC received its first letter of intent at 4:06 a.m. Wednesday morning. The recruit's name - later confirmed by Lane Kiffin to be Nickell Robey - was not announced at the time. The school issued the following statement on its website at the time the letter was received:
