Amanda Elzy's Jermaine Whitehead has six scholarship offers. He hopes to make it seven this weekend.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Whitehead from Greenwood, Miss., will be in Auburn Saturday, one of several recruits scheduled to be on the Plains. Whitehead has been receiving serious interest from the Tigers, but has yet to receive an offer.

"But I have a feeling when I go down there I'll get one," said Whitehead, a top cornerback recruit in 2011.

The offer, however, may be for another position.
