6-foot-1, 222-pound inside linebacker Ralph Cooper was one of three prep standouts from South Carolina to visit the Fighting Illini for a junior day last Saturday in Champaign. Cooper hails from Fairfield Central High School in Winnsboro (S.C.). He enjoyed his visit to Illinois and was impressed by what he saw.
