A&M legacy from California has MVP performance
FORT WORTH, Texas - The NIKE Football Training Camp made its way to the TCU campus on Sunday with the top prospects in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri participating. There were many big names from those states on the camp's roster, so it was a bit of a surprise when a player from San Diego, Calif. walked away with the Linebacker MVP award.
However, Rancho Bernardo's Aaron Wallace Jr. is no stranger to the area. His father, Aaron Wallace, played linebacker for Texas A&M in the late 80's before a pro career with the Raiders. With the elder Wallace still in Dallas working at Conrad High School, the younger son figured he should test his skills against the best that Texas has to offer while he was in town.
