Brenham, Texas wide receiver Derek Edwards watched his four-star receiver teammate Terrell Reese[/db[ go through the recruiting process last year as they helped the Cubs reach the Class 4A-Division II state championship game. Now, it is Edwards' turn.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound junior committed to Texas Tech in late March over offers from TCU, Oklahoma State, Utah, Baylor, Houston, Arizona and SMU. However, since the spring evaluation period began a few weeks back, he has added three more to his list.
