Williams Makes Bold Plans for 2010 Season
After committing to Oklahoma in early March, Danzel Williams has not rested for a second. Already aspirations and expectations fill the young two way star's head. Dreams both for his upcoming football season at Martin High School in Arlington and for his future career as an Oklahoma Sooner.
Lately, the 5-foot-9, 190-pound Williams has been kept busy with spring practice four times a week at Martin in preparation for the 2010 season. Williams says Martin will have a better team next season and expects the Warriors to make a farther run than their third round loss to eventual state champion Euless Trinity in the 5A playoffs last season.
"Oh man, we are going all the way this year; we're winning state," Williams said. "I feel very confident about next season."
