Ebertowski attends two in-state camps

HawkeyeReport.com After a successful track season that saw him win a state title in the 100-meter dash, Austin Ebertowski is turning his attention back to football this month as he starts participating in college camps. This past weekend, the 6-foot-0, 205-pound Ebertowski jumped right into things with stops at both in-state schools, Iowa and Iowa State.
In high school, Ebertowski has made a name for himself on the offensive side of the ball, rushing for 1,641 yards and 16 touchdowns last season at Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln High School. However, many coaches feel his future is on defense, possibly at strong safety, which is what he is working on in camps.
Currently, Ebertowski holds scholarship offers from FCS programs Illinois State and South Dakota.
