Sooners Land an Old Commitment

SoonerScoop.com Through Bob Stoops tenure a handful of players have elected to enter the ranks of Major League Baseball rather than accept their scholarship offer from Oklahoma. Without a doubt one of the most interesting players to do so was Vian, Okla. star athlete Londell Taylor. Signed as a strong safety prospect in the class of 2007 Taylor instead decided to try his hand at baseball in the Detroit's minor league system after the Tigers selected him in round No. 13.
After rumors of returning to football the past few winters news began to swirl a few weeks ago that Taylor had finally decided to call it a day on his baseball career. Taylor substantiated those thoughts by confirming to SoonerScoop.com that he was going to head back to the gridiron.
