Three Star Quarterback Picks UW
The Wyoming football program picked up a good commitment at quarterback this week when Adam Pittser (6-foot-1 and 200 pounds) verballed Dave Christensen's staff after narrowing his college choices to Wyoming and Western Michigan.
Pittser, a Richmond, Illinois product, while playing for Burton High School, decided on UW after visiting the weekend of December 4th and taking a few days to make his decision.
Pittser had received early interest from Wisconsin of the Big Ten and when the recruiting died down from the Badgers, he decided to focus on Wyoming.
"I'm going to Wyoming this weekend on an official visit. I've been talking to the coaches at Wyoming and they also made a recent in home visit. They are really excited to get me out to see the school and I'm also very excited to see Wyoming up close and in person," Pittser told Edgy.com before his Laramie visit. "I'm also going to make an official visit to Western Michigan on December 10th. Western Michigan has also been with me for a long time and I'm also looking forward to learning more and more about the school and the football program at Western Michigan."
The Cowboys get a top notch quarterback with good arm strength, considered the fifth best in the country by Rivals.com. The network rated him a 5.7 or three-star recruit and one of the top 20 dual-prospect quarterbacks in the nation.
Pittser attended the Elite 11 camp, where showed the ability to make every possible type of throw.
The Pokes likely will sign two quarterbacks in this class with West Salem High in Oregon's Brett Smith and Mississippi Gulf Coast College Clayton Moore visiting this weekend.
Christensen's staff will host 11 prospects over the weekend, including wide receiver Josh Doctson,, offensive linemen Zach Rushing, Rafe Kiely, and Jake Jones, plus cornerback Tyler Irving.
