Favre's five TD's leads White to win
STARKVILLE, Miss., - Thursday night was an opportunity for some of the underclassmen Mississippi State players to shine under the lights at Davis Wade Stadium and no one took more advantage than freshman quarterback Dylan Favre.
Favre accounted all five of the White team's touchdowns in a 30-12 rout over their maroon counterparts. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound signal caller completed 15-of-20 passing for 176 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while adding 40 yards on the ground and three more scores.
In all the White team totaled 278 yards in the hour-long scrimmage picking up 176 yards through the air and adding 102 yards rushing.
Jameon Lewis became Favre's favorite target hauling in six passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Nick Griffin led the White ground attack carrying 12 times for 47 yards.
