'Sticks' to Star: How Caesar Went Big
As a freshman at Miami (Fla.) Killian Juwan Caesar was nicknamed "Sticks" because the young wide receiver taller and skinnier than most of his teammates.
Four years later, the 6-foot-4, 210-pounder is two weeks away from signing his national letter of intent to Michigan State after a whirlwind senior season at Miami Coral Park High school in which the future Spartan went from being an unknown to one of the most sought after athletes in the Sunshine State.
Ranked the No. 67 wide receiver in the senior class by Rivals.com, Caesar caught 46 passes for 760 yards and 8 touchdowns while playing in just seven games last fall.
