Walnut, Miss., three-star linebacker Shaquille Perry admitted he felt differently when he visited Mississippi State this past weekend.

In the past when he has been to campus only as a recruit but this time he stepped foot in Starkville as a commitment on his official visit.

"It was different," Perry said. "The last time I went up there I didn't get to hang out with the players. This time I got to hang out with like half of them and went to their rooms."

Perry was hosted this past weekend by another former prospect from a small high school in Brandon Hill.

The 6-foot-2, 212-pounder chose the Bulldogs earlier this month over offers from Memphis, South Alabama and Southern Miss.
