As we've discussed, the 2011 Beavers recruiting class was heavy handed with defensive linemen, but that doesn't mean that the coaches forgot about the offensive line. While Coach Cavanaugh had his sights set on a few other prospects who went elsewhere, he also landed two of his top prospects in Mesa, Arizona's Justin Addieand Lakewood, California big man Darryl Jackson.

At tight end the Beavers also secured an early verbal commitment from Mt. Spokane standout athlete Kellen Clute, who committed after the Beavers camp and never looked back.

The BeaverBlitz Scouting Reports are based on the experience we've had
at the NIKE and College Camps in addition to first hand accounts from high school
and junior college coaches that have worked with these players. We take into
consideration information from the player, the physical attributes of each athlete,

JUSTIN ADDIE • OL • 6-3 • 285 • - • 5.5 • Mesa, AZ

On the Hoof: Addie plays for a horrible team, so he doesn't look overly impressive at first glance.  After watching his film you see that he is an above average pass blocker.  Addie is also big, athletic and likes to look for more people to block on a consistent basis.
