When sophomore Gators defensive linemen Sharrif Floyd and Ronald Powell arrived on campus in summer 2010, the expectations couldn't have been any higher.

Many thought the two would be able to quickly find prominent roles on the Gators defense, especially Powell, who was thought to be next in line for one of the two vacated defensive end spots.
