Sunshine welcomes Beavs on day 3
After two days of inclement weather forced practice indoors, the 2011 Beavers hit the Reser Stadium turf for the first time this spring. A surprisingly warm day was welcomed by the team, onlookers, and a number of former Beavers.
Sabby Piscitelli, Yvenson Bernard, Sir Henry Anderson, Ben Terry, Brennan Olander, James Dockery, Stephen Paea, Jacquizz Rodgers and Howard Croom were all on hand to get a look at the newest version of the orange and black.
Special teams went on as usual with Johnny Hekker booming kicks and Terron Ward, Markus Wheaton, Rashaad Reynolds, and Garrett Hall back deep receiving. As special teams winded down, even though senior James Rodgers is unable to participate, his presence was felt.
James was hands on showing Geno Munoz how to eliminate wasted motion getting out of his stance and exploding off the line. The kid is dedicated and by all accounts an amazing teammate.
