For outside linebacker Otha Peters of Covington (La.), getting offer No. 1 was the hard part. Since that came five weeks ago, interest in him has substantially increased.

"I don't know how to explain it," Peters said. "I guess when one school looks at you, other schools start looking at you."

On Wednesday, the 6-foot-1, 222-pound junior landed his third offer when Memphis pulled the trigger. The Tigers join Arkansas State and Louisiana-Lafayette.
