NC State wanted to find a quarterback at camp, and they got their guy Tuesday afternoon when they offered and accepted a verbal commitment from Manny Stocker of Coatesville, Pa.

The 6-foot-3, 197-pound Stocker is a good athlete, and he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds at NC State's summer camp June 12, but he prefers to think of himself as a traditional quarterback.
