Four-star WR has new favorite
Fresh off his de-commitment from Minnesota, four-star wide receiver Andre McDonald says he has a new favorite. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound McDonald spent the day in Iowa City on Wednesday and left town impressed with everything he saw from the Hawkeyes. The Minnetonka, MN wide receiver took us through his one-day visit to Iowa.
"When we got there, we saw the last part of their practice and then met all of the coaches," said McDonald. "I had a chance to talk with Coach Campbell and get to know him better. He's coached a lot of good receivers and is someone I could really see myself playing for."
"Then, I met some of the players like Broderick Binns, Keenan Davis, and Kevonte Martin-Manley," he continued. "I talked to them about the campus life, how the coaches are, and with Broderick, how it feels to be away from home, since he's from Minnesota like I am."
