Blair (Neb.) linebacker Jake Schany received four written offers in August from Colorado, Tulane, Ohio and South Dakota State. One of those schools currently holds a slight lead for the 6-2, 210-pound linebacker, but he is not yet ready to commit.

Schany opens his senior season Friday night. He is looking to improve upon a junior season in which he recorded 126 total tackles, including 83 solo stops.
