BOYDS -- Last Friday in Boyds, the MdHigh Five-Star Showcase, sponsored by the Perfect Performance training group, kicked off the offseason by hosting about 100 freshmen and sophomores hungry for a bit of exposure. After running through a series of position drills and one-on-ones, several standouts emerged. Whether their skills translate to the gridiron remains to be seen, but their athleticism and potential was intriguing, to say the least.
