T.J. Neal thought his official visit to Illinois last weekend would be just like the throngs of other campus outings he's gone through this year. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker from McKeesport, PA, anticipated being introduced to the new Illinois coaching staff, going to dinner with players and meeting with academic advisors.
