GREENVILLE, N.C. - PirateIllustrated.com has learned that Jonathan McLaughlin, Offensive tackle from Mauldin, South Carolina has made a verbal commitment to East Carolina University to play football for Ruffin McNeill and the Pirates.

The Rivals.com 3-star ranked prospect stands 6-4, 288 pounds and chose ECU over Marshall and Wake Forest.

McLaughlin reported the commitment to Rivals.com Southeastern national analyst Keith Niebuhr and is ECU's 18th known football commitment and/or signee for the 2012 class.
