Elston gives Ole Miss Signing Day pledge
Trae Elston compressed the majority of his recruiting into two whirlwind weeks in January.
Late Tuesday night, after visiting Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and LSU in a 10-day period, three three-star safety from Oxford, Ala., came to his decision.
Elston committed to and signed with Ole Miss Wednesday morning. ESPNU carried the ceremony _ his teammate, outside linebacker Kwon Alexander, announced his signing with LSU as well _ live as part of the network's National Signing Day coverage.

Elston visited Ole Miss on Jan. 20. A week later, the 6-foot, 183-pounder traveled to Oklahoma State and then to LSU.
"I felt like family (at Ole Miss)," Elston said. "They have new coaches there. We just have to change the program."
