New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr tight end Standish Dobard saw his recruitment take off after a top performance earned him MVP honors at the Army All-American Combine in January. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound prospect picked up offers from all over the country but especially SEC territory.

On Wednesday the Rivals250 prospect decided to make a commitment but, a bit surprisingly, it was not to an SEC program.
