Can the Sooners Make it Two for Three at Calhoun?
On the recruiting scene new prospects are often discovered when college coaches head out to evaluate a certain prospect and end up seeing another on the field as well. While schools were evaluating 2012 athlete and current Sooner, Daniel Brooks during his time suiting up for Port Lavaca (Texas) Calhoun, 2014 safety prospect, Jakorious Williams was discovered.
The 6-foot and 215-pound safety actually has other things in common with Brooks outside of just playing for the same high school. Williams suffered a torn ACL this past season like Brooks did before he reported for his freshman season at Oklahoma. And another thing they have in common is that the Sooners are also interested in Williams as well along with Arizona, Arkansas, Houston, LSU, Missouri, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU and Texas Tech.
