Jacoby Brissett settling in at his new home

Transfer quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been on NC State's campus for about a month now. The Florida native is getting used to his new home, although he has had to adjust to colder weather while he has also experienced a few snowfalls.
"It's good, I'm getting to know a couple of players and getting to know my way around," he said. "In the beginning, it was a little rough, just from the weather standpoint. The first day I was here, it snowed, but it's been good; I've got a jacket now, so that's good."
The former Florida quarterback left the Gators in early January looking for a, "fresh start," as UF coach Will Muschamp said in a statement, and Brissett thinks he found that in Raleigh.
After deciding to transfer, the 6-foot-4, 229-pounder quickly narrowed his focus to NC State and West Virginia. The Wolfpack won out, thanks to the signal caller's longtime relationship with head coach Dave Doeren, which dates back to his freshman year at William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
