AUBURN The Tigers' planned scrimmage last weekend instead morphed into something less involved, but that didn't hinder coach Gus Malzahn's ability to gather some important information.
Specifically, the Tigers' head coach said he was able get a feel for how junior Kiehl Frazier, who shifted from quarterback to safety last week, is handling his new responsibilities.
Malzahn walked away impressed. He wasn't the only one.
"He looks really (good)," junior tight end C.J. Uzomah said. "He's a quarterback, so he knows schemes. He knows if something's coming in, something's probably going out. He's been able to adapt on that."
