Weekend Wrap: Pitt Edition
The fix for what ails UVa's offense is not simple. But it is in at least one respect: More than focus and attention to detail or any other mechanism, aggressiveness across the board might not remedy everything but it sure would be one big step in the right direction.
Following a 14-3 loss at Pitt on Saturday when Virginia was just plain awful offensively and made several questionable decisions on special teams, a dose of aggressiveness seems like it might have helped. Not just in playcalling, mind you, though that certainly would have been nice. But a shot of gumption in terms of the gameplan, in terms of the personnel decisions, and in terms of understanding a team's own issues all would have gone a long way to making the picture much brighter.
