TCU offers another standout receiver
It's no secret that Brenham, Texas, is home to some of the top prospects in the state. The school boasts five players with scholarship offers and is headlined by one of the state's top quarterbacks in Jarrett Lee.
Catching most of Lee's passes a year ago and creating some buzz himself is wide receiver Justin Daniels. The 6-foot-1 195 pound receiver with 4.4 speed has been making plays since his sophomore year when he was named the district newcomer of the year. His junior campaign was even better as he hauled in 67 catches for 997 yards with 14 scores earning him all state and district honors.
Daniels currently has four offers in the fold from TCU, Arizona, Kansas, and Texas Tech. Other teams like Texas A&M are showing the fleet receiver some well deserved interest.
Daniels says among the teams he's hearing from one has started to move out in front of the others after seeing them up close earlier this week.
"TCU is becoming the leader for me," he said.
