Mansion on the move

Sometimes all it takes is that first offer to kick-start a prospects recruitment into high gear. Dallas Episcopal quarterback Brock Mansion is hoping for exactly that. Earlier this week, Mansion picked up his first offer from the Baylor Bears of Waco, Texas and if plans work out correctly, he's hoping a visit to the Hub City this weekend could net offer number two.

"Yeah, that's the plan (to visit Tech). I'm still in baseball, so that is the only problem, I'll have to see if I have a game that day. Right now, it's undecided. I figured I'd call the coach Sonny Dykes and let it be kind of a surprise visit. If we play the game, I won't be able to go," Mansion said.

Mansion said he has not informed the coaches yet of the possible visit because of the uncertainty of his baseball game, but he has already put some thought into what he'd like to do if he were to make it to Tech this Friday.

"I'm just going to go up there and visit with the coaches a little bit. I haven't talked to Mike Leach in a while, so I figured I'd do that while I was up there too," Mansion said.
