In addition, due to the importance of footwork, it's not unusual for these players to emerge on the scene later than most since they may have played positions such as tight end or defensive end during the prior season.
For example, players such as North Crowley's Jason Fox and Fort Bend Bush's Russell Okung emerged during the recruiting process last summer and both were former tight ends.
