Texas lineman has LSU in Top-3

The Tigers signed only one offensive lineman in that 2005 recruiting class and they have been playing catch-up ever since. In the class of 2006, they signed five and they will likely sign that number for the 2007 campaign.
One of the top offensive line prospects in the nation that is mentioning LSU prominently is Texan Marquis Franklin of John Tyler High School in Tyler and LSU wide receivers coach Todd Monken is hot on his trail.
"That's my pal right there," Franklin said. "I have done been down there and everything. During our spring break, I went down there and watched them practice."
