"Play hard, win for me." That is a a simple slogan on a baseball fence that has a much bigger message for one of Mississippi's top high school prospects this year.
Those words mean a lot to Winona, Miss., prep star Colton Jenkins. It also describes how Jenkins plays any sport.
Jenkins has had a lot of young admirers over the years. One eight-year-old youngster, Adam Mitchell, thought the world of Jenkins and was his biggest fan.
"Adam thought Colton hung the moon," Glenda Jenkins told RebelSports.net in an exclusive family interview in Winona this week. "Adam loved Ole Miss big time. Tragedy struck the small town of Winona over the Thanksgiving holidays in 2004.
