Kilgore defensive end Eddie Jones knows that football is the sport that could someday put food on his table, and he has only one month before beginning his career at The University of Texas. But before diving head first into the next stage of his football career, the five-star standout has some unfinished business on the diamond and that's where his focus currently lies.

Finishing the baseball season strong and leading Kilgore on what he hopes will be a deep playoff run are a top priority for Jones, but he's also keeping up with his football preparations, including hitting the weights twice daily. And he's hoping the hard work pays off with some immediate playing time.
