In-state battle for big DT?
SpartanMag.com was at the NIKE Camp in Columbus this past weekend. One of the top players there was defensive tackle Ryan Wheat of Flint Carman-Ainsworth High School.
Michigan State was the first Big Ten team to offer Wheat a scholarship and Spartan Defensive Line Coach Derrick Jackson was on hand keeping an eye on him.
Wisconsin has also offered a scholarship and Michigan has also shown interest.
