Franklin County has produced several top-notch athletes over the last several years and in keeping with that new-found tradition, a few of their athletes are getting looks this year.

One who has already had a couple of visitors during the early evaluation period — Mike Hunt — has also received his first call, and that school currently rests atop the pecking order.

"Mississippi State, LSU, Auburn, Texas, Ole Miss and Tulane have sent me some stuff," he said. "Southern Miss just started sending me some mail last week. LSU (Henson) and Mississippi State have visited the school and coach Beamer from Mississippi State called me."
