Michigan picked up their sixth verbal commitment in the class of 2007 when Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central safety Jerimy Finch pledged this week.

The 6-1, 210-pound prospect is widely regarded as one of, if not the best prospect in the state of Indiana. He talked with TheWolverine this evening and discussed whether this was a solid or soft verbal commitment.

The pledge to Michigan actually came Wednesday night in a phone conversation with the Michigan coaching staff. Finch sought the advice of his family and a few close friends before making the decision and notifying the staff.
