Pool play here is over and the first round of the 17 & under tournament is in
the books. So far we have seen four teams stand out in the 17 & under pool
play: Indiana Elite, Mean Streets Express, Spiece Central Stars and CAPS
All-Stars. We did not stay through all the late 10 pm games but it was
looking like there was going to be a round of 16 battle this morning between
CAPS and Mean Streets Express.

Speaking of CAPS, we spoke to the coach of 6-foot-10, class of 2008 post man Angel Garcia yesterday and he is already getting plenty of Big Ten attention.
We wanted to talk directly to Garcia but apparently his English still needs a
lot of work. He will supposedly be at Lake Forest in Illinois this winter.
Once again Mike Bizoukas from Munster was impressive with his point guard play
for that team.
