Highly regarded prospect visits 'Bama
AAU basketball is in full swing and one prospect who has used the national stage to improve his stock with college coaches is Tallahassee Wildcat wing guard Adam Allen.
Although he is receiving interest from programs across the nation, Allen, 6-foot-6, 185-pounds, has narrowed his list to Alabama, Florida and Florida State. This weekend he took an unofficial visit to one of his favorites.
"Me, my mom, dad and little brother drove up to Alabama Sunday morning and spent the whole day there. The visit went really good and we had a great time," Allen said. "I've seen the facilities before, but today I saw the campus and it was beautiful. The basketball coaches showed us around and we saw the academic side and regular student side and it was awesome. It had a homey atmosphere and you can tell how much the whole state revolves around the University.
"It was a totally different side to Alabama and it was very impressive. I've seen all the basketball stuff when I came down to watch them play Florida earlier this year and it's nice. I like everything they have built and the program.
