the Buffaloes' coaching staff has been all over the map during the May evaluation period. The early returns have been very positive as a number of highly regarded prospects from the 2007 class have expressed strong interest in the University of Colorado.
Demetrius Davis is one of the recent recruits to claim a scholarship offer from the Buffs.
The 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive tackle from St. Joseph (Mo.) Benton also claims offers from Kansas State and Arkansas.

"I don't really know much about Arkansas to tell you the truth," he added. "I've heard they have very nice facilities and their coaches seem like nice guys."
Purdue, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri have also been by during the May evaluation period.

Does Davis have a favorite? "I love K-State," he expressed. "I love their coaching staff."
A first-team all-conference honoree in 2005, Davis recorded 70 tackles, 12 for a loss, six quarterback sacks, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
