Cunningham drawing the love
Some local observers are calling Devan Cunningham the best lineman prospect to come out of his area in five years. His recruitment is starting to catch up to the hype.
The 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive tackle from Grant Union in Sacramento, Calif., has drawn loads of interest during the spring evaluation period.
"As soon as colleges could come down to the school, we have had about two or three coaches stopping by every day," Cunningham explained. "Then there are the calls and all the letters. Its fun and I'm grateful for all the interest but it is wearing on me a little bit."
Cunningham claims offers from Cal, Washington State, Colorado, New Mexico and BYU. "Notre Dame said they are coming to see me this Tuesday and if everything goes great they might think about offering me," he added.
