Sooners venture out to look at Still
As further proof the recruiting world is always a step ahead, while most college football talking heads, as well as every Sooner fan, are talking about the ridiculous pool of talent at defensive end for Oklahoma the Sooner coaches are trying to figure how to replace the likes of Larry Birdine, Calvin Thibodeaux, and C.J. Ah You.
While Oklahoma didn't have to go far to find the first step in that process, Muskogee, Okla., weakside defensive end Jontae Bumpus, they are venturing out across the country to find more names. In fact it's hard to imagine venturing further out than Wilmington (Del.) Howard high school to find a player.
But that's just where the Sooners find themselves as they continue to look at defensive end Devon Still.
With offers from the likes of Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia among others it might be seen that Oklahoma is falling behind a player that they're just getting in on. However, Still says he is in no rush and isn't worried if schools are either.
