Celestine says he's interested in Ole Miss
Ole Miss is re-building at wide receiver for the 2006 season and wide receivers coach Matt Lubick is looking for more talent and depth in the future.
Mamou, La., athlete Kendrick Celestine, a 6-foot, 187-pound athlete ran the fourth fastest time at the Baton Rouge NIKE Camp, running in the 4.4 range, and has been offered by Ole Miss to help at the position.
Celestine played quarterback for his high school team the last two years but will move to the wide receiver this fall, which is where most colleges are recruiting him to play.
"Right now I would have to say my favorite is LSU," Celestine said Monday night. "I don't have an offer from the Tigers yet, they want me to attend their camp and prove that I can catch the ball since all of my highlight tape is at the quarterback position."
