After a bang-up start to the recruiting season for St. Louis (Mo.) Hazelwood East running back Thomas Merriweather, things have taken on the status quo look. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect is still holding seven solid scholarship offers from an impressive list of schools with two or three others that want a first-hand look before they decide whether or not to jump in the fray.

Merriweather currently is holding offers from Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas State, Missouri and Nebraska and both Louisville and Michigan State have told him if he attends one of their camps they may decide to do something with him also. However, he may not be able to make those camps due to prior commitments.
